Autodesk acquires The Wild, which helps architects and engineers collaborate in ‘extended reality’

Publicly traded Bay Area software giant Autodesk is acquiring The Wild, a Portland, Oregon-based startup that helps more than 700 clients in architecture, engineering, construction and other industries interact and collaborate in virtual and augmented reality. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Gabe Paez founded The Wild five years ago. The company raised capital from Oregon Venture Fund; Increase capital; and at.inc.
