The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Ride to survive

Docu-drama of the Formula 1 Drive to Survive’s fourth season comes out on March 11, and there’s plenty to talk about this time around. The trailer hints at a focus on the intense rivalry between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, the off-track races and much more.

We covered Bubble’s first teaser a few months ago and fell in love with the whistling animation. Now Netflix has released the first official trailer of the upcoming anime. A catastrophic event has broken gravity in Tokyo, turning the city upside down. It comes from the teams behind Attack on Titan and Death Note, among others. The film comes to Netflix on April 28.

The Adam Project

Yes, we’ve seen this one before, too, but Netflix just released a nearly three-minute trailer for this Ryan Reynolds vehicle. Reynolds travels back in time and teams up with his 12-year-old self and his father to stop the creation of time travel. You might get Guardians of the Galaxy vibes from this trailer. Watch the film on Netflix from March 11.

Human Resources

Human Resources builds on Big Mouth’s premise of the emotion monsters. This spin-off takes a step back from pre-teens, but instead focuses on the monster working drama, their roles assigned to adults, and the challenges that come with them. Watch it on Netflix from March 18.

Trivia Quest

A new interactive adventure series from Netflix seems a lot less creepy than previous editions. In Trivia Quest, viewers must answer trivia questions to free Willy’s friends from the villainous Rocky. There are different levels of difficulty, different episodes and users can also rewatch/play older questions. The show lands on April 1.

All old knives

Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton star in a new spy thriller about a mole, a former lover and a terrorist plot coming to Amazon Prime Video. Jonathan Pryce and Lawrence Fishburne also star. It’s coming to the platform on April 8.

Sarah Lancashire stars as Julia Child, a rockstar chef who challenged British and global perceptions of home cooking. The drama also stars David Hyde Pierce and Bebe Neuwirth. Watch it March 31 on HBO Max.

Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson star in this series about a feminist behind the first women’s erotic magazine, Minx. There is a lot of laughter, interspersed with deeper topics. Overall, it looks like a sleepy hit. Watch it March 17 on HBO Max.

slow horses

Finally, Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott Thomas star in this British spy drama about a pair of disgraced cops banned from regular service. However, a new incident turns the once-overlooked house of rejections into the center of a much larger British secret conspiracy. Watch it on Apple TV Plus starting April 1.
